This article will talk about the concept of intermittent fasting, and it affects to recondition your body to convert fat into energy like a Camel’s Hump.   I will not be going into detail on the different protocols or all the science behind this eating routine.   

What is IF

 IF is a simple eating protocol for a person to schedule certain times of the day for eating and the other for fasting.  Some common practices are 16:8 Fasting 16 hours eating 8 hours, 23:1, and 14:10.


Concept of Fasting 

Years ago, humans were hunters and gatherers. Man would find food, eat, then fast until they can find more.  In current civilization, we wake up to eat, snack all day, then eat large dinners after doing very little activity.  By your body always being in a fed state it never gets a chance to burn the calories of the last meal.  In turn, your body never gets to dip in its reserves for energy.  A person’s diet must be in a caloric deficit for this to work.  I will recondition the body to use fat as energy like our ancestors.
